While I never expect this place to hop like the Mother Board (TWTM) it is awfully quite.  Send a shout out so I don't feel so lonely while I forum hop.

Chucki-
You're the best! Here I am.
Do you want us to do introductions here, or start a new thread?
Thanks!

However you want to do it.  It isn't like they will get lost in the shuffle.  LOL

Waving! I haven't had time to check out all the choices, but I will happily do whatever is chosen.

Hi Chucki!
Well, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with a study but I am going to take a look at the choices! I won't vote unless I'm sure I can participate :)

Robyn, I love your av. That is one of my all time fave paintings of Mary.

Chucki, I can't thank you enough for doing this. All the work you put in already is amazing.

SHOUTING OUT!

Sorry, had to this once. biggrin

I'm so glad that we have this here.  My parish is very small, and doesn't even have church functions or bazzars let alone a Bible group!

Can I go back to my Monty Python avatar? It's from the Middle Ages, so I guess they were all Catholic...LOL

(Here I go--offending right from the start...)

Bear with me--it's been a long day. I'm excited to do a study from the Catholic viewpoint.

Hi, Everyone! I just found this link through WTM Boards, and I'm so excited! Thanks, Chucki, for setting this up. Impressive! :) I need to find an avatar. I wonder if I have any pics of the Papal Mass in NYC on my laptop...

I will in a couple of months.  This one is speaking to me (as well as my inner calling for another baby).

All these pictures are just lovely!

Hi everyone!

Thank you, Chucki, for setting this up! And thanks to Janette for the PM; otherwise I might never have found this board.

I need this study so badly.  Either my Catholic school education (K thru 12) was sorely lacking or I have a terrible memory, because I don't feel like I know very much about my faith at all.

We have an empty spot on the wall in the upstairs hallway. I'd like to put a small chair and narrow table there, with some art above it, a Bible, rosary...dh is interested in trying his hand at a little wood carving and he would like to start with Jesus and Mary.

It will definitely be a slow going project. But I want us to take our time and put things there that really inspire us to worship.

That just gave me the best idea! Thank you.

Thank you!  Those are my brand new, freshly minted altar boys.  My dh is starting a program in our parish to encourage boys to serve at the altar, with the hope and prayer that it will lead to more priestly vocations.

This is ours.  It's simple but makes me focus during prayer time.

I love it. This is exactly what I have in mind, nothing too fancy (of course, we don't have much room for anything too big) but a spot for us to really be reminded to pray as we pass by and to stop and spend time and focus.

Yeah! Inquiring minds want to know! ( and I don't even attempt to pretend I'm not a huge Python fan... Though there is often a lengthy explanation when my kids say "odd" things in public. And I think the folks at Lowe's think there's something wrong with the whole lot of us; we all get so excited about shrubbery. ;) )
