I will listen to all suggestions about the board This isn't my board. I'm just a facilitator. I'll listen to all suggestions, but I can't accomodate everyone. But I won't be spending all my time changing things around. Please be reasonable and please understand that it might take a week or so.
Choose your Username Carefully I have no idea how to change a username at this point. I might not even learn how to change usernames so pick one you like. I would suggest that if there is any possibility you will move ever that you not pick Name In Specific Country/State/Cityas a username
Be humble
Be civil Don't attack another poster's background, religious convictions, experience, marital or parenting style. Mean posts will be deleted.
Think Before You Post While one must register to post we are a public forum. Don't post something you might regret. Don't post personal information.
Don't insist on the last word - Really that says it all
Do not assume that everyone on the boards shares a particular religious conviction While the original thought was to have a Catholci Bible study, even before these boards were created there was interest from non-Catholics to participate. Any post that put down or otherwise insult those of a different religion will be deleted. Any Catholic bashing will result in a banning. Please do not try to lead someone away from their current denomination.
If you're joking, say so Tone can't be heard on a message board. Please use smileys or otherwise indicate when you are joking.
No advertising You can request a new study using particular materials but please do not advertise for any particular company.
Deleting posts Disagreements are fine. Let's keep it cilvil. Threads/posts that get out of hand will be deleted without warning.
No Spouse Bashing I'm bringing this rule over from TWTM forum.
Use Your Inside Voice Posting a message in all caps is the cyber-equivalent of yelling please don't do it. It's rude. Really.
